At Advanced Animal Care, we do our best to provide the highest quality personal care for our clients and their pets.

Flipper's Story is an example of that kind of care.

I am the proud owner of a 5 year old Bassett named Flipper. 4 weeks ago this past Saturday, she slipped a disc in her back, not allowing her to use her back legs at all. She was so pitiful and it absolutely scared me to death. I called Dr. Martins office and they were able to see her immediately. At this point I did not know what would happen, she was basically immobile. I scooped her up (all 44 lbs of her)and took her straight in. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Martin and his staff. The first week of Flipper's recovery, I had to take her in twice a day every day to express her bladder, I could not do it myself and was very discouraged. They kept telling me, you are doing great, you will get the hang of it, everything will be fine. They told me to keep on bringing her in until I was able to express it, they did not care at all. That is just it, they did not care at all to help me as much as they could and they did!! I do not know what I would have done without them, their encouragement and kindness! Flipper went back for her follow-up Saturday, 3/7, and they were all amazed when she walked through the door on her own. Still very wobbily, but yes, WALKING!! Through all the pain medication and the therapy, bathtub and otherwise, Flipper began to use her back legs again. If it were not for Dr. Martin and his staff, I just do not know if it would have been possible! I just cannot say enough wonderful things about them!!! Thank you so much! Flipper thanks you too!!!!

Beau's Story

This week our 7th month old Shih poo puppy had a massive seizure that last for 5 hours. When we arrived at the clinic we really weren't sure what would happen and if Beau would even make it. But the love and care that the staff gave our puppy was unbelievable. It was a scary time for us but knowing that Beau was being well cared for and loved was reassuring and made it much easier to leave him in their care. Beau is doing great and has new friends at Advanced Animal Care. I can't thank them enough for every thing they did for our puppy and all the love they gave him. I look forward to taking him back for regular visits.

Roscoe's Story

Recently my Beagle pup Roscoe contracted the Parvo virus. I was sure that he was going to die. I rushed him into the Advanced Animal Care clinic and they went straight to work on him. The staff, from the office workers to the techs and the vets, were all very professional and capable. I was an emotional wreck and they were all very comforting and kind. Roscoe was hospitalized for three days and they took excellent care of him. I probably called 20 times a day to check on him and they never once acted like I was a nuisance or anything. They answered each and every question no matter what. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. I would recommend it to anyone who has a pet. Roscoe is back home now and to look at him one would never guess that just 2 weeks ago he was on death's door. He is back to his impish ways and I am loving every minute of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the staff of Advanced Animal Care clinic.

Brady's Story

I have nothing but praises for each and every staff member and doctor at Advanced Animal Care. My 16 month old Sheltie, Brady, has had a lot of illness and ailments in his short life. The little guy has been really sick for the past 3 months now and no matter the time, day or night, I could count on AAC to be there for me to answer all of my questions. The warm and caring members of their staff have truly helped me in coping with the loss of my baby boy. They have helped me in so many ways and I am ever so greatful. I would reccomend anyone to AAC with high reguards and faith that they will have the same uplifting experience. Thank you to all who have touch my life and cared for Brady in his final days. I always knew when I would have to hospitalize him that he was in such good care. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Dutchess' Story

My puppy, Dutchess, was diagnosed with Parvo last week. When I was given the news, the staff was very caring. They ensured me that I could call whenever I wanted. The staff at AAC took wonderful care of my baby! After seven days in isolation, numerous calls, and a couple of visits, my baby is now home. From myself, Dutchess, and the rest of the family: THANK YOU!! We would not have been able to make it through this if it wasn't for the constant care that you provided her with and the countless times we were ensured that she would be okay!!!

Izzy's Story

I want to thank everyone at Advanced Animal Care for all they did for my baby Izzy. I know she was difficult to treat due to her agression issues, but the staff always did everything they could to make her visits less stressful. Even though she is no longer with us, we will continue to use AAC for our other furry children. I want to give a very special thank-you to DR. Jessica Estill for all the compassion and thoughtfulness shown to us by her during a most difficult time. She went above and beyond, and we are most grateful to her. AAC was a much needed service here and there are a great group of people working there. Keep up the excellent work!

Thor's Story

My husband Ronald and I wanted to especially thank Brandon Hess and Dr. Frederico for the care and concern displayed on the night of June 24, 2009, when our cat Thor Perkins died. We were on vacation in Kentucky, and with Thor getting worse by the minute, we knew we didn't have time to get back to Virginia and had to rely on the campground officials to provide the name of a nearby Veterinary Hospital.

We were blessed that it was Advanced Animal Care because I can't imagine a more professional and caring staff than those we were greeted with on that night. Brandon was waiting at the door for us and even though Thor died shortly after arrival, he diligently tried to find Thor's vein to ease his suffering but it was just too late. Not wanting to leave Thor in Kentucky and have his ashes mailed to Virginia, your office staff contacted Tender Heart Pet Memorial Center, and asked that Thor become a priority, so we could take him with us when we departed the morning of June 26th.

We just could not have asked for better professionals to help us so late at night with our dying Thor. Even after we arrived home we received a sympathy card signed by your entire staff that warmed ourhearts - so the caring just continued from Advanced Animal Care.
